DONZELL CHAMBLISS Obituary
Donzell Chambliss, 64, 1228 Beaverdam Road, Waverly, Va., entered into eternal rest March 8, 2016, at Southside Regional Medical Center, Petersburg, Va.
Donzell was born June 15, 1952, to t he late Annie Chambliss. He attended Sussex County Public Schools. One of his greatest joys was attending church. He gave his life to God and joined Rose of Sharon Apostolic Faith Church. He was preceeded in death by his brother, Alvin Chambliss.
He was a loving, kind, gentle and generous person. Donzell loved children and strived to be a good bus driver in Sussex County.
His precious memory will always remain with five aunts: Ethel Edmond (Lafayette), Mary Williams (Douglas), Katherine Hinton, Ellen Massenburg (Ernest) and Janet Chambliss; two uncles, Lewis Chambliss Jr. and Bernard Chambliss (Evelyn); one sister-in-law, Valerie Chambliss; one niece, Angel Chambliss; one devoted cousin, Valerie Vaughan; one great-great-aunt, Ruby Turner; and a host of other cousins and loving friends.
Service for Mr. Donzell Chambliss will be held at 12 noon on Monday, March 14, 2016, at Rose of Sharon Apostolic Church, Waverly, Va., Pastor Tyrone Harper officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to Elvin Vaughan Funeral Home, Franklin, Va.
