Dora Eppes Obituary
Greenville, SC
Dora Hyatt Eppes, 86, of Greenville, wife of the late James Walter Eppes, died Monday, April 9, 2012.
Born in Dillon, SC, she was a daughter of the late Yancey and Patty Hyatt.
Mrs. Eppes retired from Greenville County School System, and was a member of Calvary First Baptist Church.
Surviving, are three daughters, Vicki Reynolds Carter of Greenville, Patsy Reynolds Chitwood, of Williamston, and her husband, Terry, Peggy Eppes Roper, of Greenville, and her husband, Carlos; a son, Richard Earl Eppes, of Germantown, TN, and his wife, Emma; a brother, Fred Hyatt, of Greenville; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 11, 2012, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. The funeral service will be Thursday, April 12, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. at Calvary First Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
Memorials may be made to Vision Building Fund, Calvary First Baptist Church, 11 Tampa Street, Greenville, SC 29609.
The family will be at the residence.
