Dora Froehlich

FROEHLICH, DORA- With great sadness the family of Dora say farewell to their beloved wife, mother and grandmother. Dora passed away suddenly on Wednesday, April 16th, 2008 at the age of 78 having been diagnosed with cancer only two weeks prior to her passing. She was predeceased by her brothers Peter and Jake Schmitz and her sister Elsie Froehlich. She is lovingly remembered by her husband of 53 years, Bud, by her children Lois (Perry) Punga, Glenda (Paul) Garrett and Al (Deneen) Froehlich. She meant the world to her six special granddaughters and will be deeply missed by Ashley, Aimee, Shayla, Jocelyn, Amber and Cassidy. She will also be sadly missed by her brothers and sisters Louise Enns, Mike Schmitz, Rose Dunitz and Andy (Carole) Schmitz as well as numerous brothers and sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces and friends. Bud and Dora were married in 1954 and farmed together in the Marquis area. Dora loved gardening, attending her grandchildren's sporting events and being involved in community activities. A Prayer Service will be held on Sunday, April 20th, 2008 at 5:00 p.m. at St. John's Church, Marquis, Sask. A Memorial Funeral Service to celebrate Dora's life will be held on Monday, April 21st, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at St. John's Church, Marquis, Sask. Father Job Addai will preside. Interment to follow at St. John's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Dora can be made to St. John's Church, Marquis.
