LORD, Dora Helen (nee Dougherty) Passed away peacefully on May 21, 2008 at the Royal Marquis Retirement Residence at the age of 88 years. Reunited with her beloved husband and soul mate Maurice (Oct. 29, 2007). Daughter of the late William and Violet Dougherty. Sister-in-law to Freda Lord of Toronto. Special friend to Zena and husband Jeff Curtis with their children Alexis, Nicholas and Harley. At Helen's request cremation has taken place. Memorial visitation at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Friday, May 23, 2008 from 10 a.m. until time of Memorial service at 12 noon. Rev. Bill Bradley officiating. Special thanks to the entire Royal Marquis staff for making Helen at home away from home. Also we wish to thank the CCAC, Comcare and Bayshore for their kindness and compassion toward Helen's final journey. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
