Dora Marcus Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Dec. 25, 2013.
Marcus, Dora
passed away quietly in her sleep on December 22, 2013 under the loving care of Hospice of the Valley. She was born July 2, 1918 in Detroit, MI, the second of three daughters to Harry and Lena Felsot. Dora was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Joe, and her two sisters Betty and Marion. She belonged to a generation that placed family and friends in high regard, and was willing to sacrifice for the needs of others, and held family relationships close to her heart. She leaves this legacy to be carried on by nieces and nephews in Michigan and Canada. Her son Larry and daughter-in-law Eileen know that she will be in perfect peace, now that she is in the arms of the Messiah of Israel, Yeshua. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St, Phoenix, AZ
85014. A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 27 at 2pm at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona. Arrangements entrusted to Messinger Indian School Mortuary.

Dear Larry and Eileen:
Please accept our sincere condolences on the passing of your beloved mother/mother-in-law. Although I never saw her in person, I had several telephone conversations with her. Her memory of some of the important facets of our family history were extremely helpful in our documention as was your knowledge Larry, in helping to locate some of our cousins.
We trust that your memories of happy times with both your parents will help you through this time of grief.
