Dora A. PAIGE

SUN CITY, CALIF. - Dora Ann Wallace Paige, a former resident of Williamsburg, was called home by her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, May 31, 2011, in California, following a lengthy illness. Her life began on April 10, 1945, the daughter of the late Alma L. and Littleton Wallace Sr., of Williamsburg, Va.
She had an assurance and a great love for the word of God. She was a radiant light, by example, touching those around her with her beautiful smile, laughter and her joy for life. She will truly be missed by her family and friends.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories, her daughters, Virginia McCary and Katrice McCary; her son, Kevin Paige (Shameeka) and their daughter, Jasmyn; her three grandchildren, Marshall McCary, Keilaha Paige and Kaitlyn Paige; her four sisters, Ruth Cosby (Edward), Frances Wallace, Catherine Moore (Benjamin) and Alma Wallace; her brother, Littleton Wallace Jr. (Daisy); and a host of other loving relatives and many caring friends.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, June 13, 2011, in Whiting's Chapel during which time Mrs. Paige may be viewed. Interment will follow in Mt. Gilead Baptist Church Cemetery.
