Frances Whearty Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from Jan. 30 to Jan. 31, 2011.

WHEARTY,
Frances Deane
(Hunt) (Age 91)

Passed away on January 23, 2011. She was born on December 3, 1919, the daughter of Ira and Grace Hunt. She was the sister of William Hunt, Elaine Herron, Bonnie Bartlett, and Betty Storer, all who passed before. Frances is survived by her daughter, Aldeane and husband Don Buckmeier, as well as by her nieces and nephews that knew her as their "best" auntie. Always a lover of her family and friends; the one that kept us together. We all will remember her as someone that made us feel special and guided us to love each other by her special way. She was clearly a giving person that put others before herself; a good friend to many and loved by all that knew her! Visitation for Frances will take place on Tuesday, February 1, 2011 from 12:00 PM until 4:30 PM at Hazen and Jaeger Valley Funeral Home, 1306 N. Pines Rd, Spokane Valley, WA. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the Episcopal Church of the Resurrection, 15319 E. 8th Ave, Spokane Valley, WA. Interment will follow at Greenwood Memorial Terrace.

I will miss you, Frances. We shared the same birthday, and it was fun to joke that we were fraternal twins born many, many years apart! I will miss your smile and your gentle presence.
God bless you - always!
Love,
Marlys Buzby and Family
