CAMPBELL DORIS V.
Mrs. Doris V. Campbell, 96, of Sherwood Oaks Retirement Community, Cranberry Twp., passed away on Friday, April 23, 2010. Doris was born February 14, 1914 in Detroit, Michigan. She was preceded in death by her husband of more than 54 years David O. Campbell and her grandson, Scott Campbell. Doris was a longtime member of Mt. Lebanon UP Church and later Mars UP Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great- grandmother and a friend to all who knew her. Doris is survived by her children, David Campbell of Portland, Oregon, John Campbell of Cohasset, Massachusetts and Coralee Wolfe of Fayetteville, North Carolina. Grandchildren Mac Campbell, Catie Laitinen, Carrie Morrow, Sarah Wolfe, Christy Wheeler and Roy Scheer. Great-grandchildren Liam, Molly, Porter, Miles and Charlotte. A Memorial Service will be held 4 PM Saturday, May 15th in the chapel at Sherwood Oaks Retirement Center, 100 Norman Dr., Cranberry Twp., PA 16066. The family suggests memorial contributions be given to Sherwood Oaks Residence Association at Sherwood Oaks Retirement Center. Dear Friends,
My deepest sympathy to all the family in the loss of a very dear & wonderful lady.
Both my wife & I were so very fond of Doris & Dave Campbell,& I considered it an honor to be pastor to the Campbell famly during my pastorate at MLUPC. May the Lord comfort you all in your bereavement.
