Doris Carpenter Obituary
Doris's personality was larger than life itself, touching countless hearts. She was always ready to extend a helping hand, exemplifying selflessness at every turn. Her unwavering love for her family defined her, and she cherished every moment spent with them. An avid traveler, Doris enjoyed camping and exploring new places with her late husband, Joseph Steven Carpenter, and spending quality time with her sisters.
She leaves behind a loving family: her sister Diane Smith; her children, Denise Morgan, Lynn Poplin, Eric Page, and Polly Page; along with 14 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Doris was preceded in death by her parents, Roy Sydney Smith and Eva Autie Bell Smith; her beloved husband; seven brothers; two sisters; and a grandson.
Services to honor and celebrate her life will be held on November 9th at 1pm at Kinza Baptist Church in Stanfield, NC. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Doris can be made to the American Diabetes Association at http://diabetes.org. Doris's legacy of love and kindness will forever be remembered by all who were fortunate enough to have known her.

Doris was a client of mine , I'd just did her hair on Thurs then I hear about her passing two days later , I'm so sorry to her family & friends she was definitely 1 of a kind my prayers & thoughts are with yall in this difficult time & she'll definitely be missed

Doris made me laugh every time I was around her. I love the smart remarks she would make to or about anyone. I knew then she was going to be my favorite. I love the party's she attended, I love the family get togethers, but most of all her spirits made the world a better place.
