I had the privilege of working alongside Doris in the classroom for many months. Students and teachers alike adored her, as I did. Blessed to have her become my friend. She was a beautiful lady inside and out. I will always remember her beautiful smile and the twinkle in her eyes. Love to all her precious family.

In 1987, Doris was a long term sub for me at Cassidy Elementary and we stayed in touch for many years. I loved and adored her, as did ALL the students for whom she was a substitute teacher. She was well known for giving out Airhead candy at the end of the day, which was a huge treat for the kids. She was beautiful, funny, kind, classy, and every positive adjective that exists. She left her amazing mark on this world and will be greatly missed. Heaven has gained a most special angel.

This elegant, lovely lady came to Sheabel(where her daughter worked) often and brought us her famous Snickerdoodle cookies! She was a sweetheart and we loved her!

Loved this Lady SO much! My second Mother in the neighborhood! Spent so many days and nights at her house talking about all our girlfriend problems and anything else we needed to talk about! Love the whole Family! Went to school with Shelley, my good friend!

She is on my Mt. Rushmore. Knowing Mrs Cornett has made me a better person. Still have the going away gift she gave me when I moved to TN in 1995. May God watch over and bless her family
