The funeral is over, her birthday has come and gone,but the memories of my dear one and only sister will forever be in my heart. Our mom would be so proud of how she carried out all her wishes in regards to her siblings and children. What a daughter!!! What a sister! May all her children be the same to each other as she was to her siblings! God bless the family! Much love, Auntie

Dear Kathie, Elaine & Family:
My condolences in the passing of your mother Doris. Be encouraged by the words in Romans 8:28 '..all things work together for good to those that love the Lord..' I remember Doris' smile and good humor. My prayers,

I enjoyed seeing Ms. Eiland at Fellowship as often as she could attend. She always had a hand squeeze and a kind smile. She loved the Lord and being in the presence of other believers. I will miss her but know that her kind spirit will be with us always!
God bless,

A mother's love can never be replaced, nor can the impact her existence has had on your lives. May you each find a level of peace in the experiences you've shared individually and collectively. The love always remains.

Kathy! I am so sorrow for your loss and wish to express my sympathy through the words of another. "A mother holds her children's hands for a while...their hearts forever".

Mom Eiland always had a beautiful smile on her face and we all were blessed by her presence!
And, we all know what a wonderful mother and grandmother she was.
God (and my mother) have welcomed her into the gates of Heaven.
The entire Eiland family is in my prayers.

Although we are mourning Mother Eiland's departure from us, we know that God has opened His gates to a beautiful Angel. Rest in peace Mother Eiland.

Thank you for putting up with all the noise from the band and always being nice to me. You raised a nice family and will be missed.

Dear Eiland Family,
I taught with Doris at Wilder Fundamental School for a few years. She loved being a teacher -- really enjoyed the students as they enjoyed her. I have missed her for many years, but still hold her memory close to my heart. She was so proud of her children -- so proud.

Dear Eiland Family;
Doris was my line sister on the infamous, still talked about Black Swan (1980) Line of the Minneapolis-St. Paul Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. She was a special star on our line and my memories of those days bring smiles and giggles. Doris was so much fun, so creative and always ready to tackle a challenge. Over the years we worked together on community projects I could always count on her to be there and do what needed doing.
It is my prayer that your memories of her will sustain and comfort you. You are all in my prayers.

Kathie, Karen, & Elaine, even though I did not reall get to know your Mom, she struck me as an awesome person having raised 4 beautiful & intelligent daughters (and a son) with your dad. Just know while she left this world, she has not left you, she is in your thoughts and hearts forever. She is now in paradise!
