Mrs. Kenneth Fine, Mr. Don Hutton, Donna & Brad,

I am back again. I meet to tell you the reason that I wasn't at the visitation was that I have been gone for over two weeks and didn't get back until today, Thursday. Had I been here and known about Doris, I would had paid my respects in person. Please be sure that Mrs. Fine knows that the candy girl has signed the guest book and also that Don knows. Thank you,

Mrs. Kenneth Fine, Mr. Don Hutton, Donna & Brad,

My thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of sorrow. I got to know Doris thru her beloved father and mother when Kenneth worked at Whitten Electric Co. I sold candy to Kenneth six days a week. He was one of my very good candy customers as so many others were and I shall never forget them. Kenneth introduced me to his wife and daughter in the early 60's. He was so very proud of them and loved them so very much. Mr. and Mrs. Fine was proud of Doris and Doris was of them.

You know their last name fit all three of them greatly for they were very fine people. Not only were they fine people but I could tell that they were a very close knit family. There wasn't and isn't very many men that would go shopping with their wife and daughter on Saturday's but Kenneth Fine would be right there with Mrs. Fine and his daughter, Doris. When I worked at H. P. Kings I would also have the pleasure of helping them and even you, Don would be with them some.

Mr. & Mrs. Fine was very proud of their whole family. Since they only had the one daughter you could tell that they thought of you as a son, Don and treated you like a son and how they loved Donna and Brad and was so proud of them.

I still think of Kenneth Fine and his family very often even when I am not passing Windsor St. as I did when he was alive and I would be on my way to my grandmother's or aunt's or Wal-Mart, etc. (sometimes I would run into Doris there at Wal-Mart when she worked there and talk to her, she was a lot like Kenneth-always had a smile for you and very friendly) I would pass and if I saw any of you out I would blow.

After I graduated from selling candy (I should had gotten a degree in it for I sold candy for eleven years) I did not for one minute forget about my wonderful, beloved candy customers for they were and are still a part of me and always will be. Where ever I go, they and so many other wonderful beloved people will go with me. I am so very thankful for all of my eleven wonderful years of selling candy for without them I would not had meet all of the wonderful people that I have and that includes your family. I think God for all of my blessings.

May God be with each of you during this sorrowful time and may you have peace in your heart.

Dear Don and family, I am so sorry to hear of Dot. I know how close you two were. I worked in the old store in sporting good and you all used to stroll thru all the time. She was very sweet to work with. Just know that I am praying and thinking of you at this time.
