Dexter, MI

Age 80, passed away peacefully after a long illness on the morning of
Sunday January 6th 2013 at Towsley Village in Chelsea.
She was born on May 6th 1932 in Ann Arbor, MI, daughter of Elmer and
Carrie (Steinman) Gregory.
She was preceded in death by her husband Billie O Jaynes, son
Stephen, sister Ruth Mitchell and brother Elmer jr.
Doris is survived by her daughter Gale, sons Douglas (Jennifer)
Kevin (Ruth), 9 grandchildren, Michael, Melissa, Julia, Ronald,
Daniel, Corrie, Alexis,
Caitlin, Lindsey and 3 great grand children,McKinley,Jack,and Owen ,
sisters Mary Lou Hathaway of Ann Arbor and Betty Young of Dexter.

Doris was born and raised in Ann Arbor and moved to Dexter in 1974 .
She was employed at the Chelsea retirement center , was an avid
gardener, enjoyed playing bingo with all of her bingo friends and
doing volunteer work at the Chelsea Hospital where she had many close
friends. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Huron Valley
Humane Society.

Visitation will be Thursday January 10, 2013 from 3 till 7pm with
funeral services Friday January 11 at 10am at Hosmer-Muehlig Funeral
Chapel 3410 Broad st, Dexter MI.

Really sorry to hear about Aunt Doris. I have a lot of memories of very thoughtful things she did for me as a young adult and as a child. It was always so much fun to go to the house on Packard. So Sorry for your loss.
