Doris Martin Obituary
Doris Mae Isler was born in Lowell, Indiana to Robert and Dora Hilzley on April 29, 1931. She married Daniel Richard "Dick" Martin on October 16, 1954 in Knox, Indiana.
Doris is survived by three daughters; Jackie (Richard) Nelson of Bristol, Indiana, Pam (David) Delp of Scottsville, Kentucky, and Suzette (Toby) Blair of Scottsdale, Arizona; and three grandsons, Anthony Delp of Centerburg, Heath Chapman of Scottsdale, Arizona, and Jax Chapman of Scottsdale, Arizona.
Doris was preceded in death by her husband; four sisters, Betty Jane Roe, Mary Ann Truman, Joyce Weir, Peggy Janice Fredregill; and one brother, Jack Isler.
Doris worked with the engineers in the aerospace division at Bendix for twenty-eight years. Doris enjoyed bowling in her earlier years and later took up golf when she retired from Bendix. She enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles, crossword puzzles, playing cards, and watching TV especially comedies, such as Golden Girls. She had a kind heart and quick wit and will be dearly missed by her family and all who knew and loved her.
