Micky & Johnny - I was so sorry to see that your Mother had passed. I have so many fond memories of Doris especially her smile and warm greetings every time I came to church on my return visits to Marshall. Remember you have many relatives and friends praying for you as you go through this difficult time.

I first met Doris through my step father H.E. Varnell, and fell in love with her immediately, she was a wonderful person. God Bless you Mickey at this time.(I'M Ray's sister)

Johnny and I dated in high school and everytime we visited his home, Mrs. McCarty was the perfect hostess. She always made me feel special and loved. I know how much John and Micky loved their mom and know that the wonderful memories will bring them smiles as they think of her. Her memory brings a smile to my face. What a lovely lady she was! Doris was one of the first people to welcome us when we joined CPC of Marshall. She was a lovely person, smart, beautiful, and warm. She was someone you were instinctively drawn to, and someone you knew you could trust. May God bless you all.

A note to John, Ramona and boys to let you know how very much we enjoyed Doris over the years with our many visits, especially loved her laugh. Matthew talked last evening of many wonderful times spent with her also as a kid. I know you feel a terrible loss with her passing, but as always, the memories and good times will help you through this in your lives. She will always remain a part of the family.
