Robert,

I was so sorry to hear the news about Doris. I worked with her at the Southern Bank Bon Air branch back in the 1970's. She and Lucy Boswell taught me so much about dealing with people. She had a gift for it, and her customers loved her. I know how much you and the family will miss her.

It was my privilege to be Doris' last manager at Southern/Jefferson National Bank from 1986 until her retirement in the early 1990's. Her secret to good cooking, she always told me, was that she followed the receipe exactly! Many, many fond memories. My thoughts are with all of you at this time.

Doris was the cornerstone of the Bon Air branch of Southern Bank for many years. I was fortunate enough to work with her there in the late 70's early 80's. She was a 'get it done' type of person whom I counted on without fail. Condolences to family and loved ones. She was a wonderful person! ~Gail Gill Swineford

I remember Doris so well....she trained me a hundred years ago as a teller at Southern Bank. She was the kindest, most patient person who was loved by everyone at the Bon Air Branch where she was an institution. God bless you Doris, and to your wonderful family. Thanks for your help to a young, nervous teller so long ago!

Keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers. Your Mom was the definition of hospitality and warmth. Mrs. Street was such a special lady who was loved by so many.
