Doris Velazquez Obituary
On Friday, April 14, 2017, Doris Elaine Velazquez, known to her friends as "Elaine," passed away at the age of 80 years. Elaine is survived by her three daughters, Jolaine, Dorice (Bill) and Alyson (Sandy); her brothers, Dick and Greg; and her sister, Sylvia; along with six grandchildren.
A native of Mt. Airy, North Carolina, Elaine will be forever remembered for her kindness, generosity, and the delicious cakes she loved to make for family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will take place on June 10, 2017, 2:00PM at the InSpirit Center for Spiritual Living in Mission Viejo. Memorial donations may be made to the Orangewood Foundation.

Only met Elaine 2 times once after I was married she was visiting Mt Airy and dropped by and next at reunion, but by though 2 times I was taken by her kindness and love of family. My father talked about her father often and how there mother would long on missing Elis and his family.
