Doris Camille Wedding, 91, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away May 4, 2016.

The funeral service will be held at Grace Baptist Temple at 4398 Bluemel Rd, San Antonio, Texas 78240 on Saturday, May 14, 2016, at 11:00 am. Pastor Dennis Isbell will be officiating. Visitation will be held at 10:00 am at Grace Baptist Temple preceding services. Burial will follow the funeral at Fort Sam Houston on Monday May 16, 2016, at 9:00 am. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Sunset Memorial Park.

Doris was born in Brookhaven, Texas, on April 23, 1925, to Jess and Jewel Scoggin. She graduated from Carrizo Springs High School in Carrizo Springs, Texas. Doris was married to Bryan Wedding on July 14, 1946; they were married 64 years. Doris was a member of Grace Baptist Temple for 46 years.

Doris is survived by son James Wedding and wife Cassie, daughter Martha Wedding Bashioum and husband Tom, daughter Rebecca Wedding Dorsey and husband Tim, son Lesley Wedding and wife Diane, eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Doris is preceded in death by spouse Bryan Wedding, mother Jewel Scoggin, father Jess Scoggin, sister Jesse Baker, brother Charles Scoggin and brother Jimmy Scoggin.
