My condolences on the passing of your mother, Carol. I just saw her obituary in the Kalamazoo College LuxEsto magazine. You sure take after her. I hope you are well.

I will miss you my dear and sweet friend. You gave me so much love and smiles when I visited you. I can't be with you at the funeral, but my heart and thoughts are with you and your family. Lady in Red will never forget you. xoxoxo

Our families were close when we were younger and life was simpler. Dorothy Jean, as she was called by extended family, was so sweet and loving. She was a first-cousin of my father Paul Mason Jr. Her aunt, my grandmother, Jessie Giddings, took me over to Dorothy's house to play with my cousin Carol, her first daughter. Later, we loved seeing Dorothy's travel photos & hearing her trip stories. Her father & mother lived long lives also and I loved visiting them also.
Prayers for Dorothy in her life in heaven.
