Not sure what to say?

I had the pleasure of working with Dorothy in the OT Dept She was an amazing lady who deeply loved her family . I have to believe that Ken was waiting for her and it was quite a reunion.

I sure did love Mrs. Auel (and Mr. Auel). Her obituary captured her life perfectly. I treasure the moments I had with them. Her love for the Lord shone through in every thing she did. I love that she fully knew the difference between right and wrong and was so good in expressing her feelings on both ends of the right and wrong spectrum. :) It was an honor to call her my friend. It is also wonderful to know that the Auel legacy will live on thanks to the lovely family she and Mr. Auel left behind. They were so proud of all of their kids and grandkids (and great-grandkids). May God find ways to fill the hole left in many hearts with the warm and wonderful memories that will remain with us forever.

I will miss you Aunt Dot. Many funny memories will remain with me, as you see Uncle Con again. Love Chris Auel.

Grieving with you all and trusting that eternity is ready for the vibrant life joining the ranks. I loved your Mom and Dad very much. My life would not be the same without camping and Boy Scouts and Moyer Street. Love to all,

I was deeply saddened to hear of Dorothy's passing. I got to know Connie and Dorothy when I served as a student minister at Knoxville Crhistian Church in the late 90's. They taught me how to pastor, how to preach, how to enjoy the Lord's Supper every Sunday and perhaps of great impact...how to give a proper benediction. "Clint, is there something wrong with your arms? You had them so low I could barely see them! Lift them up", I can still here Dorothy say...and I think of her EVERY week!

Perhaps it is fitting that this past week we celebrated All Saints Day for on November 8, heaven gained one more saint. "We feebly struggle, they in glory shine!" Thank you Dorothy, you were a wonderful gem indeed!
