Dorothy Balen Obituary
81 years. Passed away suddenly at Windsor Regional Hospital Metropolitan Campus on April 21, 2014. Predeceased by her husband Joseph John Balen (1999). Loving mother to Louis Balen, John Balen, Stacy Miller and her husband Dr. Jeff Miller . Dear grandmother to James, Christopher and Alex. Dear great-grandmother to Drew, Elora and Eli. Dear sister to Ann (2007). Dear daughter of the late Daniel and Stefanie . She is also predeceased by her precious Sam and many other granddogs and cats. Dorothy was a Bank Teller with the Bank of Montreal for many years before retiring. At Dorothy's request there will be no visitation or service. Cremation has taken place. Memorial tributes to the Humane Society, 1375-A Provincial, Windsor, ON N8W 5V8 would be appreciated by the family.

My deepest Sympathy to Stacy and her family. There are no words that any one can say. Just know that Love is being sent your way and we love God's chosen ones enough to let them go, for it will be only a short time when your arms are around Mom and Dad again.
