Dorothy Lee Booher

Dorothy Lee Booher got her angel wings on Thursday, August 4, 2016. She was born Dorothy Lee Wilkie in Purcell, Oklahoma on June 28, 1936 to James Henry Wilkie and Zena Fay Rock Peters Wilkie. She was the youngest of ten children including her Peters' family siblings. She attended Oklahoma College for Women in Chickasha, Oklahoma where she met and married, for 60 years, Loren Edward Booher of Chickasha, Oklahoma.

She was a working mother when most were not, a wonderful example for her successors. Accounting, office management and insurance administration were carried out for several companies and was concluded with retirement from Oscar Mayer Foods in Sherman, Texas, which was her home. She was loved for her sweet, caring and cooperative nature.

She is survived by her husband, Loren; her last sibling, Grace Wilkie Breeze of Fort Worth, Texas, daughter Tami Lynn Booher DeAngelis (David) of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Randal Wayne Booher of New Port Richey, Florida; Bryan Edward Booher (Erin) of Roanoke, Texas; and a generous amount of grandchildren, great grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews.
