On Saturday, September 2, 2017, Dorothy, age 72, of Millvale, formerly of Lawrenceville. Loving mother of Leslie (Peter) Jarzynka, James and Blaise Castelli; sister of Maureen McCafferty Miller and the late Raymond Vaughan, Doris Goris, Rege Vaughan, Anna Marie Tatte; beloved grandmother of Olivia, Luke, and Meredith; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends received at the JOHN F. MURRAY FUNERAL HOME, INC., Butler at 52nd St., Lawrenceville, Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Spirit Church Friday 10 a.m. Visitations Wednesday 4-8 p.m. and Thursday 2-8 p.m.

I cant believe it has been 2 years since your mom died. I think of her often and miss her. Today, ironically,
I was writing out a new personal telephone book, and saw her name and it saddened me to not put her
name and number in the new one. I hope all of you have come to peace with it and are enjoying lovely memories
of your precious mom. We had fun working together and of course after all of you were born I was invited
for dinner so I could meet all of you.

leslie, jimmy, blaise, I was so sadden to hear of your moms passing. even though we lost touch over the years, I thought of her and you guys often. we had so much fun together, going to keenywood, and our mothers day cookouts. I know how hard it is to lose a mother. as time goes on you will start to focus on all the good times. your mother was one of the greatest people I had the honor of calling friend. she loved you 3 more then I can describe. love and prayers to you.

Leslie, Blaise , Jimmy and family I am so sorry to hear about your mom. I use to live across from Ms. Dorothy I met her about 12 years ago and in the summer I would come sit on the porch with her and we would talk for hours I moved a couple of years ago but we still talked on occasions. I'm so heart broken I just saw the post tonight she was a very special and wise lady. My heart goes out to you all and my deepest condolences I will be praying for the family and she will truly be missed

Leslie and Family so sorry for your loss. Dorothy was such a huge part of the Holy Spirit Christian Mothers & Women's Guild and Holy Spirit Parish. She was always there for our important events to include the Bingo's, Church Dinners, Millvale Days Basket Raffle and the Annual Christmas Cookie Sales and she served us well as an officer! She was always willing to help in any way! Cleaning the church on Thursdays won't be the same. Thank you Dorothy for your dedication YOU will be missed! Everyone I know holds special memories of YOU. Until we meet again dear friend! Love you!

I am so sad to see that Dorothy passed away. I worked with her in the repair dept many years ago and she always made it a lot of fun. She was a great person, I'm very thankful to have known her. My heart goes out to all of her family and friends.

Dear Leslie, Jimmy, & Blaise. I read with sadness and shock of your mom's death
this morning. We were close friends for many years, but sadly sort of lost track of eachother. We worked together at Bell Telephone in the mid 60s, then the late 90s,
and into the 21st Century. We last saw each-other at "the Lincoln" when we met for breakfast. I know how hard it is to loose such a great mom and friend to all of you. May all of you find peace as she will always hold a special place in your hearts and memories. Sadly, we aren't in PA this week-end, so won't be able to attend, but I will
