Dorothy Dee Claus of Belton, Missouri went to be with the lord on Saturday January 26, 2018 at her residence. A Celebration of Life will be held from 5-7 pm Friday, February 8 at McGilley and George Funeral Home, 611 Chestnut Belton, Missouri 64012 .

Dorothy Grogger was born on June 9, 1950 to Paul A. Grogger and Mary J. Wagner and was a lifelong resident of Belton, Missouri. July 9, 1976 she married Ronald J. Claus at the Bridal Cave in Camdenton, Missouri.

She spent many years working with her husband, working in the school cafeteria, and later finishing her career running a house cleaning service and taking care of her family. She will be remembered for her late night Scrabble games, her love for her grandchildren and friends, also her enjoyment of spending time with family at the lake.

She is survived by her brother Paul Grogger, her sister Jo Ellen Claus and husband Ronald J Claus Jr., son Rob Claus and wife Michelle Claus, Ronald Justus and wife Lisa Justus, Timothy Claus, David Rice, John Flaigle, 11 grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

She will be laid to rest next to her husband and family in Smithland, Iowa.
