In memory of
John Davis
June 1, 2009
Always there for me since I was little. Very joyful to be there for you to some degree as you battled Alzheimer’s disease. I know the Lord has made you whole again, and better than ever. You taught me many important lessons throughout your life, Mother. I admire the way you battled through all your tough times and your illness. Thank you for trusting the Lord and teaching me that Faith, Hope, and Love win in the end. I love you, Mother.

Dear Mom Mom,
Thank you for the love, faith, and sense of humor that you passed on to your family. As I got older, I enjoyed our talks about faith and God. I love that you kept your sense of humor till the end. I know you are tap dancing and clapping your hands to Church music in heaven. Love your grandson, Matt

Russell, George, Gary, and John -
the best sons a mother could have according to Dottie! You loved her and she returned that love. How she looked forward to your visits and phone calls. She knew she would be with you and your families especially on special occasions.
You and your families are in my thoughts and prayers as you go through this difficult time. Our Heavenly Father will comfort you I know.
I too, will miss my dear friend and sister in the the Lord.
Love in Him,
Judy

Dear Davis Family,
I helped care for your mother while she was still in her apartment in "The Towers". I enjoyed taking her out for her daily walk. We talked for many hours about "her boys". She loved you all very much; but I know that she was looking for to the day that the Lord took her home. You have been in my thoughts and prayers since she entered the nursing home. I really looked forward to seeing her each day. She brightened my life.

My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Have very fond Quinton memories of your family and your mother was my Sunday School teacher for two years at QUMC. We never forget our Sunday School teachers and she was a good one! I always "see" her smiling or laughing - always with a positive attitude. I know you will miss her but her life is just beginning! I'm thinking she will be chatting with my mother there - two Bridgeton girls catching up! Susan Steelman Gowan
