For my Momma
I thought about you yesterday and days before that too
I think of you in silence
I often speak your name
All I have are memories and a picture in a frame
Your memory is a keepsake, from which I'll never part
God has you in His arms
I have you in my heart

One of the sweetest and most kind people I have ever met. I appreciate the way she looked out for us all and the love she shared. I am happy that I was part of her life and she was part of mine. Rest in Peace, Grandma Doll

Sweet Dorothy...my earliest memories were of this kind lady who was my cousin's grandma as being one of the sweetest ladies I have ever known in my life. I loved sending her Christmas cards and other correspondence throughout my life as a young adult and as an adult with children and she was always so thrilled to keep in touch. A sweet gentle laugh were the result of a kind gentle spirit. I am sure you children and grandchildren and great-grandchildren will miss her very much and will be eager to see her again in heaven. Loving thoughts and prayers from our family as you adjust to life without your sweet loved one.

We as her adopted church family enjoyed having her in McMinnville, even though she was unable to attend church services. Dorothy loved her Lord, and enjoyed talking and singing about Him. She was kind, caring, soft-spoken, and just the kind of grandmother any person would wish to have. Thank you, Dorothy, for blessing us with your presence in McMinnville for a few years, and for joining with us in singing the good old hymns, that filled your room at the Marquis in Newberg, with joy and praise. You will be missed.

Aunt Dorothy was always an inspiration to me! When me and Raven were involved in the church, she always gave us a lot of encouragement and Inspired us to be better people. She made a positive impact on this world with everyone she met.

Sharon, Harry and the extended family of Mrs. Doll, I am so very sorry for the loss of your beloved.
Mrs. Doll was one very special, loving, caring, concerned, compassionate, understanding, loving people I have ever ever had the pleasure of knowing and respecting!
She was a living angel and will always be in your hearts. Her loss will be felt for a long time, but her kindness and compassion is in all our wonderful memories to help her family and all of us.
Please Sharon and Harry, if I can do anything, please know I am here.
Rest in Peace Mrs. Doll, you will never be forgotten!

I am so glad that we got to see Dorothy a few weeks ago. Dorothy had a sharp mind to the end and was kind and loving to everyone. My heart goes out to Harry, Jr and Sharon as they grieve the loss of their mother and to the grandchildren. Heaven can't come too soon.

Dorothy was a wonderful woman . Who loved without judgement. You were always kind. Even if you didn't agree. You always showed love. When we walked into your home you always made us feel welcome. An example for us all to live by. Rest in peace. We will see you again some day

One of the most kind-hearted, Christ-filled, and sparkly-eyed women I've ever known. She always had a genuine smile and warm hug for me. It's been many years since I've seen Dorothy, but she's held a special place in my heart since I was a child. I can hardly wait for Heaven!

Dorothy had one of those "Angelic" faces that impressed me with a picture of Christianity when I was first being introduced to God and the Bible many decades ago as a teen. So sorry to read here that Carole passed away also. My sister and I met Carole at our first camp meeting as teens. Like her mother, she had such an angelic face and spirit. Both have a corner in my memory and my heart.

I am so glad to have met this lady a couple of years ago. The mother of my very dear friend Sharon. From the first day we met, it seemed like we had known each other for years. Sweetest lady ever. She sure loved her family. Thinking of you all at this time.

My fondest memory of Aunt Dorothy, was when Harry Jr. and I took a surprise road trip one Friday night to stay the weekend with her and Uncle Harry. Our daughters Jessica and Tiffany were the same age, about 7 or 8 (I think this was about 1995 or so). She and Harry were so surprised to see us at 10:00 that night! She welcomed us with open arms, and fixed us a late dinner. The next day, she took the girls to church, and we spent the rest of the day hiking and fishing. That night, she fixed us a vegetarian "meatloaf" that was so good, I swear I couldn't tell that there was no meat in it!
Harry Jr. and Sharon, I am sorry for your loss. I know she was a wonderful person, a great mom and grandma. She had a very warm heart, and she gave the nicest hugs. The world feels a little colder without her.

One of the most unforgettable people I have known in my life. Her genuine love of people and her beautiful spirit will be with me forever. Carole was a dear friend of mine and she also had the characteristics of her sweet mother. Rest in peace dear Dorothy. Your love will go on an on.
