Burt and Dorothy were our backyard neighbors until they moved to Oakwood. We moved in to house in 1985. Neil and I along with our son David and daughter Alison thoroughly enjoyed our time with them. Many a time we would sit in their backyard or in the 3 season room with them. The kids even got a chance to try out the piano which they thought was something. I lost my Mom in my early 40´s and I told Dorothy she was my stand-in Mom. She was so helpful to me while raising our children- offering me advice when I asked her. They enjoyed our young family she said and loved watching them play in the yard. I felt bad when Covid hit that I lost contact with her, but tried to get a phone call in occasionally. I think of her often with a smile. God bless, Dorothy.
