I'll remember her picture perfect make up, garden hat and ripped jeans while we gardened together in our backyards. She always made me smile. She was fun, loving, had a great sense of humor, and I really enjoyed our times together whether it was gardening, playing bingo or just chatting.

I have such wonderful memories of your mom! For many years we loved singing in the soprano section of church choir. When she lived in Nora, I would give her rides to and from church on choir practice nights and Sunday mornings. We had wonderful visits during this time and her positive outlook, love of learning and sharing her wisdom always kept the conversation lively and interesting. She loved to share how proud she was of her children and grandchildren and the latest family news. Dorothy always had a ready smile and giggle but was serious as she kept me up on the benefits of coconut oil, ginger, and all manners of holistic nutrition. She was ahead of her time! I'm so happy I got to visit her in the last few months. Though she'll be missed dearly by all, today there's a party going on in heaven! I can still picture your dad waiting patiently at the choir room door for her to put her robe and music away, and now, his waiting is over forever. ;-). May the Lord bless you and keep you during this time of grief and may the Holy Spirit and all the wonderful memories sustain you and yours.

We first met Dorothy and Bill when we moved to Carmel in 1980. They were the first people we met. They were both wonderful people whose company we enjoyed. In later years, we saw them at church.
We will miss you , Dorothy. Our deepest sympathy to the family.
