Libby was a terrific neighbor and dear Friend. We will miss her.

I wanted to express my condolences in the passing of your mother. My mother Mary Hug considered her to be a wonderful friend with a kind and gentle way about her. She always enjoyed her visits with her on return trips to Wilmington. May God bless you all.

My mom always enjoyed your mom's company. She was a good friend to her and they had many good times at Hercules country club, golfing and kibitzing. You mom was a gracious lady and I would run into her in the supermarket on occasion. We always had a great conversation and she would always mention how much she missed my mom. I wish you years of fond memories to hold you strong through this tough time of sorrow. Thinking of you and your family at this time. Sending you prayers for your healing.

Having grown up next door to Libby (Sharpley) and attending Concord Church with her for several years, I am sorry to learn of her passing. I have many memories of her in her backyard gardening. She allowed us children to cut through her backyard (making sure we paid attention to avoiding her plants) to get around the neighborhood. She always made time to chat with us, asking us questions that would elicit interesting responses, I'm sure. She was a wonderful Mother to her children, especially David. She will be dearly missed.
