Alfred Thibault, a long-time resident of West Boylston MA died Tuesday, Feb 27, 2024 at 10:15 in the morning in the presence of his family at 61 Winship Avenue in Pittsfield MA. Alfred was 89 years old. He leaves behind his wife of 66 years, Maxine (Jones) Thibault and five children: Dean Thibault and his wife Jean of Chicopee MA, Gary Thibault of Worcester MA, Glenn Thibault and his wife Priscilla of Orwell NY, Scott Thibault and his wife Susan of Madison AL and Sharon Chiellini and her husband Michael of Pittsfield MA. His descendants are many, including 16 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
Alfred was born October 2, 1934, in Salem MA, the son of Emil and Blanche (Cote) Thibault. He was an Army veteran and served at Fort Knox, KY, where he met his wife Maxine. Alfred previously worked at Plastics Color Corp. in Dayville CT as ISO Quality Management Representative and Special Projects Engineer. Prior to that he worked at Neles Jamesbury for 25 years where he was Manager of Manufacturing Engineering. Prior still, he worked in Quality Engineering positions for Trane Co. in Lexington KY and Clarksville TN. Alfred was a long-time active member of Bethlehem Bible Church in West Boylston MA where he previously served as Elder and numerous other positions over the years.
The funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 3, 2024 at 3:00 in the afternoon at Bethlehem Bible Church located at 307 Lancaster St. in West Boylston MA 01583. Calling hours directly following the service.
