In Loving Memory of Dorothy Gradick

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Dorothy Gradick, who left us on January 25, 2026, at the age of 93.

A devoted Navy wife, Dorothy spent many of her early adult years living in communities around the world while supporting her husband's military service. Through years of travel, change, and long deployments, she built a life grounded in resilience and determination. After those years abroad, she and her family eventually settled in Fallon, Nevada, where she made her home for the second half of her life.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Gradick, and her son, William "Bill" Gradick. She is survived by her daughter, Tzena Gradick; her youngest son, James (Brenda) Gradick; and several granddaughters, great-grandchildren, and great, great-grandchildren.

Raised in a large family, Dorothy learned early the value of resourcefulness, hard work, and perseverance - qualities that defined her throughout her life. While her husband served overseas, she raised three children, meeting the challenges of daily life with tenacity and practicality. She found quiet enjoyment in watching the sun set or the clouds shift; strong coffee and good chocolate were staples; and she appreciated a task well-done or time spent with a purpose.

Dorothy will be remembered for an independence and resilience that carried her and her family through many seasons of life. Though she has departed this world, the generations she influenced remain a lasting testament to her perseverance
