Hey Lady...

                    "The Lady in Red"
                       Chris de Burgh
               Released: June 1, 1989

Hard to believe it’s been more than 30 years since we danced THAT dance! WOW I always loved dancing with you in fact I  looked forward to it!  I could hardly wait for you to get off work and meet me on the dance floor. Waiting, to dance that first S-L-O-W dance with you seemed it would take FOREVER. Or when I would take you by both hands and spin you in the middle of the Dance Floor until you would get D-I-Z-Z-Y! Maybe OUR favorite  was when Terri Nunn and Berlin sang; "Take My Breath Away". Oh ya you always sang loud that part when she'd say "watching every Motion in my foolish lover's game" and you'd look right at me. You know I wasn't foolish or thought that it was a game we were playing. It was real...Fun times Dori!
I remember our time(s) spent together (driving) between Glenwood springs and Denver... singing along with the Georgia Satellites "don't tell me no lies and keep your hands to yourself" did we take that advice?...yes we did! If you drove that purple Chevy you would wait for me on top of Vail Pass. Or I would wait for you.
I know your still Dancing even in Heaven. Oh baby I beg you...save YOUR Last Dance For me and I’ll save MINE for you…Remember what I always said to you; look into my eyes..."I see a window to your soul...that's where I'll touch your heart!" I can see your soul now. You had the biggest and the most beautiful eyes in the world, and a heart of gold!
Dori
I'M FOREVER SAD YOU LEFT THIS WORLD without saying bye...R-I-P

Oh, I Love you Dori. We had some truly memorable and wild, good times. It's been almost 30 years since you came to visit and I still see you, in my minds eye, remember the laughs we had. I always remember you with a smile and feeling of deep love.
I remember your humor, your smile, your singing like Stevie Nicks, eating an entire bowl of uncooked oatmeal, raisin cookie batter with you and so much more. I'll see you again, Sister, we're pod. Find Peace and save it for me.
