JEWEL - Dorothy H. (nee Kells)

Mrs. Jewel was ninety-five when she died. She was the beloved wife of the late Louin L. Jewel, dear mother to the late Lindsey Jewel (William) Robertson, grandmother of Matthew and Eric (Mary) Robertson, and great-grandmother of Caitlyn, Tyler, and Lily Jewel Robertson. A short service will be held Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at the Chapel at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Mrs. Jewel was a long-time member of the Twentieth Century Club, and for many of those years, she served as one of the club's librarians. In the 1970s and 80s, Mrs. Jewel volunteered at Buffalo Children's Hospital. She loved to read and tackled a book a week well into her nineties. She liked puzzles and word games, and, when she was younger, gardening. She died peacefully. Flowers gratefully declined.
