Dorothy T Licata (nee Tarloski) of East Norriton, passed away in her home, peacefully on Friday December 4, 2020, with family by her side. She was 93 years old. Born May 20, 1927 in Conshohocken, she was the daughter of the late Leon and Helen (nee Mateja) Tarloski, and the beloved wife of the late Salvatore Michael Licata. She attended school in Conshohocken. She worked at James Lee Hosiery in Bridgeport, Lansdale Tube in Lansdale, and at Conshohocken Bell Telephone in Conshohocken where she was an accounting clerk. After retiring from the Bell Telephone she became a full-time homemaker. Dorothy enjoyed going to Atlantic City Casinos where she would go with her husband or to meet up with friends. She considered herself "lucky" to have the chance to travel all over the world with her husband. They went to Europe, Mexico, Canada, numerous cruises in the Caribbean as well as all over the United States. She was an avid Music Box collector, of which her favorite being the one that played "As Time Goes By", Casablanca, she and her husband's wedding song. Her most treasured memories of recent were those of spending time with her great grandchildren. Dorothy is survived by her two children, four grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her two brothers; Leon Tarloski and Theodore Tarloski. Relatives and friends are invited to share in Dorothy's Life Celebration on Thursday December 10, from 9 to 9:50 AM followed by her Funeral Mass at 10 AM at Holy Saviour Church 407 East Main St. Norristown. Entombment will be at St. Patrick's Cemetery. Family services are by Boyd-Horrox-Givnish of East Norriton, 610-277-7000. In Lieu of flowers, please make donations in Dorothy's name to National Centre for Padre Pio 111 Barto Rd, Barto PA 19504 or Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation 555 Croton RD Suite 111 King of Prussia PA 19406

You will be sorely missed. I remember all the times with your with your 2 grandchildren Barbara and Rob in the pool and back yard. And all the Sunday dinners we had. And your duck soup once a year in the fall. I
