Dorothy McCoy was one of my daughter's all-time favorite teachers (W.B.Ray High School, Corpus Christi). She once said that my daughter was the brightest student she had ever taught! No small accolade from such a wonderful teacher. I feel sure that Ms. McCoy would have been very gratified to learn that my daughter is now a Unitarian Universalist minister in Canada and has created award-winning sermons. We recently had occasion to reminisce about the past, and Dorothy's influence was part of that conversation.
Rest in Peace.
