May the powerful words recorded in the Bible at Matthew 5:4 encourage and strengthen your saddened heart.

Dorothy was a living testament to the power of being an "extrovert"! Never one to shy away from speaking her mind, I can remember her meeting both Presidents Clinton and Obama! One very fond memory I have is of her visiting California with her daughter Judy and watching a flying exhibition by the "Blue Angels". There was a very large crowd watching, and at the end of their performance, Dorothy knew she needed to show them her appreciation in a "personal" way. She slipped away into the crowd, and the next thing we knew, she was locked in an embrace with one of the pilots! That was only one example of Dorothy's "love of life" and determination to live in a way that ensured that nothing was left undone, and ensuring that she would leave her children and grandchildren with a plethora of happy memories! She will be missed by everyone whose life she touched - God Bless you, Dorothy!
