Dorothy Owens Obituary
She is survived by her five children; sister and brother-in-law; eleven grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, great-grandchildren, and great nieces and nephews. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband, Harry G. Owens, Jr.; her father, Joseph Butnor, her mother, Eva Gowlis Butnor and her brother Joseph Butnor.
Dorothy was a devoted mother who raised her family with love, faith, and strong values. No matter where she was, she always found a church to attend, reflecting her deep and steady faith.
She loved reading, crafting, and was a proud member of "The Happy Homemakers." Dorothy was also a wonderful cook who brought people together around the table.
She and her husband Harry raised their family in Woodbury, Connecticut, before retiring to Florida and later moving to Brownville, Maine, due to health reasons.
Dorothy will be remembered for her kind heart, quiet strength, and the love she shared with all who knew her.
