How wonderful the photo gallery is! I so enjoyed looking at all these pictures. Mrs. Pitcher was my school nurse at Bryan Adams, but more importantly, she was my Girl Scout leader when I was in high school, and we had a lot of fun in her troop and learned a lot of valuable information. She was a very special woman, and I know she'll be missed.

I know that Dorothy was a wonderful woman who loved and served so many. I was blessed to be one of her great nephews. She supported me from afar and was present for several of my life accomplishments. I wish to express my sympathies to each of you as you celebrate a life well lived, and I pray that you are comforted by the promises of eternal life through Jesus Christ.

I remember Mrs. Pitcher well. I went to C.A. Gill where she was the nurse. I have several fond memories of her taking care of me when I was ill. I kept up with her through my great aunt Tommye Anderson. They were longtime friends and colleagues. I called Mrs. Pitcher last June to let know that Tommye had passed. Please accept our sincere condolences. She was one of those special people you always remember.
