What I remember most was how she welcomed me into her family before she even met me, and then her absolute love for her grandchildren even before they were born and for the rest of her long life. We never heard her say a criticizing word about any of us and she was always game for whatever!

Dottie was mother to my friend Carol and was such a fun person as we grew up in out teens and twenties. I remember visiting and the laughter and poodles!

Ma was the last of all our adopted mothers of our 7th Street roommates. I remember her very fondly. Always full of life and humor. I saw her in the Beverly home, in the Raymond home, and, of course, in CA. I remember going to visit her and Carol in Raymond, NH after my wedding pictures arrived. I just remember how excited she was to see them, as much as I was to show them. That was 43 years ago, but it always stayed with me and meant so much to have her truly take an interest and share in my joy.
She led a remarkable life, and will be truly missed by all those her life touched. My love and sympathies go to Carol and Jamie and the rest of the family. Her love is always with you in the good memories of a life well-lived. A Mother's love is eternal.
