I remember you just about every day. Why? Because you were so kind to me and a great mentor. Also, because you gave me a dutch oven and 2 metal pot holders that I use everyday to cook with. My kids will talk about the time you let me use your color blind glasses and I saw all color for the first time. They also thought your color reader was just amazingly funny registering Gabe as pale white, Tim as orange, Hayden was brown and Moriah the red head red. We all had so many great times at Little Sisters of the Poor because you adopted us for family day events and Spaghetti dinners, activities and tea parties. I still get mail from Little Sisters and every time I am sad you are not there to visit.

Dorothy Ann I will miss you. Why? We always had such great discussions over tea. We had great prayer over tea. We had great lunches over tea. You were a thoughtful woman that helped me home school my kids by finding resources for my challenged learner and giving advice because you had some of the same learning styles. I am forever grateful for the hope and encouraging Godly wisdom you shared with me. I met you 11 years ago when we taught ESL and were volunteer community liaisons for the immigrant and refugee program. You were so generous with your time, talent and treasures living out God's love for others through your many acts of kindness. You love is leaving a lasting legacy in my family.
