I miss her, but like so many, I never have or will forget her. Ms. Stevenson (Auntie Dorothy), made such a positive impact on the lives of her family, friends, students and clients. She always knew the right thing to say or do and did so with class and dignity. She was joyful, because she would always brighten the room with her stories and laughter. She was an instrument of peace, because her gentle and loving manner brought calm and reason to those around her even when no words were spoken. She was a model of kindness, generosity and love. She reflected the Light of Christ and the example of being a child of Father God. She blessed us all with her presence. No one can ever replace her.

Still With Deepest Sympathy,

Karen Gustave

Ms. Dorothy was my first beautician. She and my mother, the late Dorothy Verrett Campbell were friends.

I remember Ms. Dorothy as a cheerful, kind, elegant woman who was like a mother to all. Ms. Dorothy saved me from the devastating effects of alopecia. My hair fell out leaving bald spots, everywhere. This was very traumatic for me.

As my mother would say, I shall never forget Ms. Dorothy and the loving care and ingenuity she used to restore my hair and self-esteem.

Ms. Dorothy used an ultra-violet ray rake on my scalp and I'm sure that very few cosmotologist were even aware of the use of this scientific tool for hair restoration.

Ms. Dorothy's treatments worked and for that I am eternally grateful.

I love you and will miss you, Ms. Dorothy. But I shall never forget you.

Love & Peace,
CC Campbell-Rock

Ms Stevenson was my mother's instructor at the trade school on Louisa St. My mother absolutely loved her and she spoke very highly of her. Ms Stevenson was very encouraging to her as she embarked upon a new trade while rearing 7 children. On behalf of my late mother, Bertha L. Toney and my siblings please accept our sincere condolences and our thanks for what your mother pored into ours... God bless you
