VERSAILLES - Dorothy "Dot-Dot" Tyler , widow of John Lee Tyler, shed her earthly vessel on Wed, May 30, 2012. Born Dec 3, 1936 to the late William Harvey and Annabelle Williams Johnson, Dorothy was preceded in death by daughter Penny Tyler and brothers Clarence Wayne and Billy Johnson. She leaves to cherish her memory, daughters, Teresa Tyler of Versailles and Ina Tyler of Winchester and son, Kenneth Tyler of Winchester; sisters, Mary Wheat and Christine (Robert) Brown and brothers, Lewis (Sue) Johnson and Henry (Wanda) Johnson, all of Versailles; five grandchildren, Victoria Evans of Winchester; Tony Compton II, Dion Compton, and Ken Mack of Lexington and Raphael Rucker of Versailles; two great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and adopted children; and a special cousin Frances Johnson. Dorothy was a member of First Baptist Church of Versailles and retired from Texas Instruments after 27 years of service. Visitation/ Praise/Tribute services will be held Sun, June 3, 2012 at 5-7pm and Celebration of Life on Mon, June 4, 2012 at First Baptist Church, 233 S. Main Street, Versailles, KY.
