"But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere." James 3:17 That describes Doug Maxwell!

Sending our love and prayers to all of you. Kelly, you loved and cared for him so well through his courageous battle with this disease. What an amazing testimony you both have been to the faithfulness of God.
With love, Elizabeth Robinson

So sorry to hear of Doug´s passing. He and I go all the back to George B. Dealey elementary. We played football together in the 7th grade. He was our quarterback that year, and I´ll never forget on the afternoon I fell and broke my arm and went to the ER Doug showed up the next day on crutches having injured his knee! That was it for us. I´m sorry that he has battled this disease all these years and know that he is free of all those bonds and is free to soar in heaven. Rusty McNeny

What a wonderful life with a wonderful spouse, father & friend. I loved him as a brother, and learned so much from my relationship with him. He was a masterful mentor, even to the end of his life. I pray that God will richly bless you all, as you bask in the glow of what he did. He "shined, yes, he did.

I also hope that you can find many ways and through myriad circumstances, in the coming days/ years with how "to release" our Doug, and how to focus on the great memories you experienced. I know we´ll see him back to heaven. He will always be a TRUE FRIEND!

With LOVE!

My deepest condolences. I have fond memories of Doug´s wonderful sense of humor, especially during musical rehearsals. He always made us laugh and lightened the mood. May his memory be a blessing.

Doug was such a special man. We had the joy of serving with him in the early years of The Covenant School and witnessing his love for Jesus. Kay and I look forward to being with our brother again in eternal joy with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Blessings and comfort to Kelly and the family at this time. We love you, Gary and Kay Koerner

Wonderful words about a wonderful man! He will be so missed and our hearts are aching for Kelley and the kids. But I know that Doug Maxwell is in the arms of Jesus and getting heaven ready for his family!

What a beautiful description of Doug`s life and legacy. We loved him dearly and are so grateful that God put him in our path individually and as a family.
