Doug was a great talent but his kindness, humility and humor were king. Sincerest condolences to Noelle and family.

I was a high school friend of Doug and felt like one of his family. His mother's blueberry pie and his dad's infectious grin were there to greet me when I visited Doug's family at their home in Jerome now 40+ years ago. I was a lonely nerd in high school, and Doug was one of my closest friends. His parents were members at an exclusive golf club in the Snake River canyon near Twin Falls. There, Doug and I would hunt crawdads in the spring fed lakes and go fishing (don't know if that was allowed!). Maybe 20 years passed where I lost track of Doug in his world travels only to reconnect after he had married Noelle and sprouted a beautiful family. We were more in contact in the last five years as I followed his work with Symphony of Hope -- so beautiful and such a perfect expression of Doug's love for his Savior Jesus Christ and his love for people. Though we never saw each other post high school (to my memory), I thank God that I got to be part of his life both when he was young and in these last several years. May the God of all peace grant you (his family) His grace as you suffer this loss until that great rejoicing at the marriage feast of the Lamb, which I'm sure will be accompanied by cellos playing.

He's in God's hands now... Condolences and blessings to the family.... Make him proud of your accomplishments going forward.... And hug him when you see him on the other side... I knew he had a good heart even in high school David Leroy Baker

I went to high school with Doug. He was truly the most kind man I knew. His gentle and caring nature was evident even then. I have the fondest memories of Doug and pray for his family for peace and healing.

What a legacy of love Doug has left. The best thing that I remembered about Doug is watching him worship the Lord on his cello. The other thing was his sense of crazy humor. I wasn´t around you all much but the time I did have was wonderful. Noellle, Doug loved you so much. My heart is with you sweetheart.

I remember Doug from years ago. His gift of music he shared, opened up the Heavens. I remember him as a humble person, unpretentious, and a man of faith. McClure family, my heartfelt condolences to you and yours during your time of loss. From the Vargas Tribe

Our families were joined together just over two years ago with the beautiful marriage of David and Megan and we became Ohana! Each moment we have had with Doug and Noelle has been so special. God has always been the centre of our conversations and our hearts for missions made it even more so. Doug you shall be missed more than words can say but we are forever joined as Ohana through marriage and so will always be there for your family. We love you all McClure family
