To the Moody family,
Y'all don't know me personally but my son and myself found Paragon trains by accident one day and we fell in love with the place. We made many visits 10-15 years ago and Mr. Moody was so generous and kind. He took us around his out door layout that he built and my N-scale passenger train came from his store. He always had time for us but his skill level and building all of those layouts in his store has always amazed me. I will miss him and he had a positive influence on both of us.
God Bless.

So sorry to hear of Doug's passing. He was a very special person; a great intellect, a gentle soul , always willing to help others and very willing to share his many interests. I have fond memories of visiting your place with my sons and wife. I also recall the many conversations I had with Doug and another great man, Don McGrath, who had a special place in his heart for Doug. He will be missed.

Joan and family, I am sorry to hear of Doug's death. Shirley had emailed me about his illness so I have had you in my prayers. I have memories of some of our family gatherings at Christmas time and Doug always had some interest that he was talking about. One time he was busy taking lots of pictures and videos. Just know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. cousin- Jane (Wilson) Lineberger

Joan & family, I'm so sorry to hear of Doug's passing. I always enjoyed stopping to talk with him when I walked Gypsy past your house. He was such an interesting man. You both were so much more than neighbors but friends too.

A wonderful neighbor who will be missed greatly. He always enjoyed showing us his snakes and his train collection. He was a kind, compassionate person, always lending a helping hand to us.
