Dear Christy: Phil and I have very heavy hearts at the loss of your sweet and wonderful husband. I'm Chris James' mom and we kept up with the news by way of Warren and Chris. I remember very fondly the days when both the boys spent hours and days together. What a wonderful man he turned into. I always knew he would be since he was a very "special" little guy too! It was also very evident to us how much he loved you when he was in Warren & Julie's wedding and kept coming over to the table to be with you! Doug was also a great support to Chris when he lost his dad in an accident so many years ago. Please take GOOD CARE of yourself! You and the rest of the family will be in our thoughts and prayers. If your ever up this way to see Warren,Julie, Chris and Robin please feel free to stop over. Love, Kay & Phil

Christie,

I am so sorry for your loss. I am Chris James' sister and have known Doug since him and Chris became best buddies, probably 30 years by now. Doug was always a great guy and his loss will be felt by many and forgotten by few. I can still remember him playing Dungeons and Dragons with Chris all of the time! Take care and I am sorry again for your loss.
