To the Driggs family,

I,m so sorry to hear of your loss and offer my condolences. I worked for Doug in bands and in the house real estate business. I remember the In-to-it lounge, the Intimate lounge and Heck Fuzzys where we used to play. Doug was the kindest and most generous man I ever knew. My car was wrecked in I think 1979 and he said I've got one in the garage and the keys are in it, just go get it.....it was a beatiful 1978 Cadillac!! What a Guy

TO THE ENTIRE DRIGGS FAMILY,

I SEND MY DEEPEST SYMPATHIES TO YOU ALL WITH THIS GREAT LOSS OF ONE OF MY DEAREST FRIENDSIN DOUG AKA "DIRTY DOUG" AKA "DR. DOUG"DRIGGS!

THIS MAN WAS ONE OF THE MOST AMBITIOUS, HUMORUS, MULTI-TALENTED MAN, I EVER HAD PLEASURES OF KNOWING HIM FOR THE LAST 40+ YEARS!

OUR FRIENDSHIP HAS MORE HISTORY THAN MOST, WHEN IT CAME TO ALL THE EXTREMES OF LIFE, WE SHARED AND DEALT WITH, WHEN IT CAME TO OUR LOVE FOR CARS, BUSINESS AND MUSIC!

IAM STILL IN DEEP SHOCK FROM THIS LOSS, AND EVEN MORE DISSAPPOINTD THAT I WASNT NOTIFIED THAT THIS GREAT FRIEND OF MINE, HAD PASSED!

DOUG AND I WERE SO MUCH ALIKE IN OUR WAYS, EXCEPT FOR LOOKS; HE WAS WHITE, AND IAM BLACK; HE BEAT ME OUT ON MARRIAGES(6) TO MINE(5), BUT WE BOTH STRIVED FOR MUCH MORE THAN THAT.

DOUG WAS FULL OF LOVE! HE WOULD GIVE THE SHIRT OFF HIS BACK TO HELP ANYONE DOWN, WE PLAYED SO MANY JOBS IN WISCONSIN, AS WELL AS HIS CLUBS IN MINNEAPOLIS, FRIDLEY, AND LAKEVILLE; HE LIVED!!! HE LIVED LIFE TO THE FULLEST!

I HAD THE PLEASURE SEEING DOUG IN VIEW OF LIFE, DEALING WITH HIS KIDS, ESPECIALLY STEVIE AND RHONA; THEY WERE/ARE SOMETHING SPECIAL IN ALL RESPECTS.

I HAD THE PLEASURE OF MEETING HIS FAMILY FROM MOTHER ON DOWN TO PHILLIP,ART AND DON, AND NUMEROUS RELATIVES HE HAD IN MARSHAL, MN.

I WILL MISS DOUG GREATLY, AND I WITNESSED HIS TRUE LOVE, PAIN, AND UNDERSTANDING WHICH WILL ALWAYS REMAIN IN MY HEART AS KNOWLEDGE IN LIFE FOR ALL THE WONDERFUL THINGS HE BROUGHT IM MY LIFE.

TO THE DRIGGS FAMILY, AGAIN, I EXTEND MY MOST DEEPEST PRAYERS FOR THIS LOSS...........GOD BLESS YOU ALL...........JIMMY HILL SR.612-330-0000

Dad- I know we were seperated but I want you to know there wasn't a day that went by that I didn't think of you. You were my Dad and I loved you very much. I will never forget living in Fridley. You trained and practiced basketball with me EVERY night with the garage light shining down. Growing up loving basketball was caused by you and I thank you. I remember the Weekly Timberwolve games, bike rides, boat rides, and you and I singing karokee in front of people. Mikey and I love you very much, i hope you know that.

--Your son, Collin

I met Doug when I was 18 we shared a lot of great times and some bad. But one thing I know we never gave up on each other. He helped me through some bad times and I helped him through some too. Through all the changes in our lives we kept our friendship. I am honered that he was a part of my life. Thank you Jill and Family for taking such good care of my friend the whole 9 years he was battling cancer and heart problems etc.

Thanks
Mary JO

Dad - if you were looking down on us from heaven yesterday I am sure you would have had a big smile on your face. The family was all together for the very first time. All four kids, Uncle Don, Uncle Butch, Aunt Jodi and all our terrific cousins. Mikey and Collin turned out to be amazing young men - you would be proud. I hope you know how very much we loved you Dad.
