My condolences to the Gardner family. He was a wonderful person.

We were so taken back to hear that Doug had passed away suddenly. Memories have been flooding through me mind as I contemplate our friendship of over 70 years. We worked together, played together, did scouts together and so many experiences together in the 4th ward. Most recently it was just a short chat on the phone, but every time when I hung up the phone, I thought, 'What a great friend". Our love to each of you. Tom and Marilyn

One of my favorite people have "graduated". So many sweet childhood memories have surfaced of Uncle Doug and the Gardner family. I pray for comfort to you all. I love you!
