We have so many wonderful memories of DJ's great sense of humor, his smile, his laugh and his positive attitude! He persevered through ups and downs and can now rest in peace. We love you DJ.

Some of the best memories of my childhood were summer vacations with my cousins which included Doug Hanson. I loved his playing the organ and piano and whatever instrument he was into at that time. Our days at the beach were even more fun with Doug and his surfboard. Even through the terrible tragedy I know that God had a plan for Doug´s life till the very end. We will not understand that plan until we get to heaven. Until then Doug is running and celebrating with all those we love that have gone before us. Especially, his mother, his sweet sister Sheila our Grandmother, etc. what a reunion. Until we meet again enjoy walking those streets of gold our sweet Doug

Meeting you and working for you has been the biggest blessing of my life. It didn't even feel like work when I first started. It felt like two friends hanging out. You use to say I was an angel sent into your life, little did you know I felt the same way about you. We met in 2007 shortly after I lost my aunt. It was a hard time for me & I believe you were Godsent. Being your caregiver gave me a great sense of responsibility and kept me grounded. I did not take that responsibility lightly. I put my whole heart into it.18yrs together, we became family The road got rough at the end and I'm so glad I was able to ride it out with you. I know you're in a better place now, free of pain. I will miss you deeply. Love you Doug. Rest in peace

Doug you will truly be missed!! You become a part of our family!!! I will miss our conversation, and watching shows together!! I love you Doug.

What a joy to have shared life with Doug; a fine and kind gentleman always! I feel his happiness in a sweet reunion with some of our loved
ones - together again - his Moma, Sheila, Aunt Kathy and my Karen!
Oh yes, Uncle Al and Uncle Terry too. His gentleness and love will always
be remembered! I love you forever and always my beloved nephew.
