Dear Bobbie and family,

I appreciate so much the visit I had with Doug while he was in the hospital. Your dad had so many people that loved him and enjoyed his company. It is just so sad for us to lose him, but how happy for all of the family and his loved ones that will be greeting him. I will sure miss him.

Dear Bobby; I am very sorry that I was not able to attend Doug's funeral service. My wife and I were in Alaska with Jenny and her family. I always appreciated Doug for his humor and personallity. Many years ago I drank half of Hyrum Reservoir while Doug draged me behind his boat. I was very sorry to hear of his death and I will miss him.

Sincerely; Stephen T Burningham

Dear Family!

Oh Dear God we just read about Doug. What a shock to both of us and will be to our daughters when they find out. Never did we expect to find out that Doug, our dearest friend died. We did not even know he was sick. We knew about Kenny -- and that was so hard. Dean spent a large portion of his life at the Wheel-In and so did his daughters. We loved the boys and did many lake trips with them, and met the kids -- and Bobbie and the family even bought our motorhome. We LOVED Doug and Kent and so did our girls. We grew up with them. Doug and Dean drove to Florida twice to support Children's Miracle Network with their time and love for the millions of children that have had their lives saved by money raised for Children's Miracle Network -- Children's Hospitals. He donated his time to take all of the National Office material to Florida with Dean to help make these "Miracles" come true for sick kids. Never will there be a better man and friend! We Praise the Lord that he and Kenny were part of our lives! We love the Obitituary and want you to know that it fits him perfectly. God Bless each and everyone of Doug and Kent's children and grandchildren and great grandchildren that get to live with such incredible memories and heroes in life. God Bless each of you family members!

We LOVED them dearly! Kathy and Dean Anderson and our girls Kelli and Alfie that lived at the Wheel-In.

To the family: I would like to express my sincere sympathy for the loss of your loved one. Psalms 116:15 says that we are precious in God's eyes. Therefore, we can rest assured that he has made a provision for those who have fallen asleep in death. May this thought bring you and yours much comfort.
